You will complete a lab report highlighting the Conservation of Mechanical Energy Lab using the provided sample lab report as a guide. In addition, you will be required to complete further readings about the conversation of mechanical energy and cite at least 2 resources to support the findings of this experiment. The resources MUST be a component of the introduction and conclusion in the lab report.
Lab reports are an essential part of all science courses and usually a significant part of your grade. Some instructors require the lab report be included in a lab notebook, while others will request a separate report. Mr. Myer will provide a format for a lab report you will use with explanations of what to include in the different parts of the report. A lab report is how you explain what you did in experiment, what you learned, and what the results meant.
